George H. Brown (Director) has worked
in professional and university theatre for over 20 years, filling
a gamut of positions from director to fight choreographer. He has
directed over 50 productions in theatres across the U.S. including,
Macbeth, Cyrano De Bergerac, Trojan Women and Circle Theatre’s
productions of Daddy’ Dyin, Who’s Got The Will?, Sylvia and
Blithe Spirit. While serving as Managing Artistic Director
of Island Center for the Performing Arts in the U.S. Virgin Islands,
his production of Dance Bongo was awarded the 1993 Best Production
Award at the Southeast Theatre Conference. George is an Associate
Professor at Texas Christian University. He holds an MFA in Directing
from Penn State. |
