I've been diving since I was 16, certified by the YMCA. Since then I have been diving around the world. I am currently certified by PADI as an Advanced Open Water diver with Wreck, Deep, Night, and Enriched Air specialty certifications. I am planning on making Master Scuba Diver this summer, and then on to Dive Master and Instructor.

My other great passion is to travel. I am an active traveler exploring museums, historical landmarks, and, of course, places to dive. I have traveled extensively across the US, Canada and the Caribbean, as well as most of Europe including England, France, Spain, Italy, Greece and Hungary. My most recent international experience involved my professional collaborations with the Theatre Koleso, involving travel to Moscow and Togliatti Russia in 1998. One of the high points of the journey was visiting Red Square, the Kremlin, and Lenin's Tomb. The second was making friends with my Russian collaborators. After the weeks we spent together as their guests, regularly toasting to our friendship with Russian Vodka , I discovered the old Russian saying was indeed true: "Russia is not the government, it is the people!" |
| My other interests include woodworking, home renovation, reading, swimming, computers, photography, winning at RISK or TRIVIAL PURSUIT, long walks talking with my wife, and flying kites on the beach with my daughter. | |
