My Advice

The best advice I can give you coming into this class is to get started --TODAY!

You will also be creating a basic web site from scratch using HTML code and web authoring software, and a multimedia presentation using Powerpoint or any other multimedia software. Both of these projects will take time, more time than you think, especially if you have not done this type of work before. So allow yourself plenty of time.

Don't expect to wait until the night before the due date to start the project, you will run out of time! Start at the beginning of the week and get it done early.

You will get frustrated because this is mind-bending work. My best advice for this is to walk away from the computer. That's right, get up and go do something else, don't read email, don't do anything on the computer. Take a break, get some fresh air, go for a walk.

When you come back to the project, you'll be amazed at how clearer your thinking is and what problems will be solved.

So let's get started!
