    This resume is sufficient. It uses a table for layout, but there are a few design elements that could be improved, and some that are actually distracting.

    The textured background is actually distracting. It makes it hard to read the text in places.

    The left hand column would look better if the text in the cells was top-aligned, rather than middle-aligned. There are different font faces used, which is ok, but let's look at what it might look like if we correct some of these design issues.
