Forming Process
Please use the attached Learning
Team Charter, that I have adapted for the online environment
from the one developed by UOP, to go through the initiation and
formation of your team this week. This process will help you get
started working together as a team.
Work through this for the next few
days and submit to me in the Assignments newsgroup no later than
midnight on Monday. Also post a copy of it in your
individual team newsgroups for future reference. You can either
attach the document to the posting, or cut and paste it into the
message (my preferred way of doing it).
A word about roles:
The new team project will give you
a real-world experience of working on a design and development team.
Read through the project instructions,
paying close attention to the roles and resonsibilities. As you
complete the Learning Team Charter, please indicate who will be
filling which role. There are five roles and each team has six members,
so there will be two members filling one role.
At the end of weeks 2, 4, & 6,
I will ask you each to fill out the Learning
Team Evaluation Form and send it to me via email. This helps
me get a 'reading' on how the team process is going.
