In 1999, UT Arlington, UT Dallas, and UT TeleCampus began working together to put a Masters of Electrical and Computer Science Engineering online. The joint venture includes 12 course developed by each of the two UT components and hosted by UT TeleCampus.

The UTA Engineering faculty have joined forces with the Center for Distance Education to produce 12 high-quality, media-rich courses. Thus, we embarked on an adventure of varying scope, from using text and audio - to full length Flash movies, producing media-rich, engaging content.

This showcase will display not only the cool media we produced, but also our philosophy and decision-making process behind its use.

So, allow me to walk you through this program from the beginning.
